1) I agree, it is not too handy. Not aware of any others though.

2) Burned out lamp for seat heater button. Dealer should fix. Sport and Winter buttons dont illuminate.

3) By design. Buttons still on so you can find them. Someone at Saab must feel it is dangerous to drive faster than 90 mph at night. Gas gage will re-illuminate if level dips to 1/4 tank or less, maybe speedo will too if you go faster than 90mph.

4 thru 7) Ask your Dealer. I don't know about these.

8) Yes, you have a low pressure turbo.

9) Read the sidewalls of your tires. If they say "Gislaved Nordfrost" they are snow tires. Fantastic in the winter but you will want summer tires come Spring. Car had Michelin MXV4's on it when new that is why there is a Michelin brochure in the glovebox.

10) 2000 Base: 2.3 litre light pressure turbo charged 4 cyl, 170HP but factory accessory for 200HP available. More basic radio and interior unless upgraded to a "Premium Package" which is equivalent to the SE.
2000 SE: 3.0 litre turbo 6-cylinder, 200HP. The luxury model with upgraded interior and radio over base model.
2000 Aero: 2.3 litre full pressure turbo, 225HP. Same interior equipment as SE, upgraded suspension for better handling and upgraded brakes.

11) Works on all seating positions. Push button activates a timer so it can't be left "on".

12) Center speaker and woofers, but no center channel and sub-woofer as you would find in a 5.1 system

13) US regulations. Can only have 4 lights on at a time on front of vehicle. 2 low beams and 2 fogs, or 2 low beams and 2 high beams. If activated, fogs will go out automatically when you flip the high beams on.

14) Don't know, only my kids use it. I drive the car not the radio.

15) Sport mode is a blast! It recalibrates the "drive-by-wire" throttle so more fuel is delivered to the engine for an equal amount of throttle travel. Also changes the shift points for higher RPM shifts and more abrupt gear changes. Winter mode is a dog, it starts the car from a stop in third gear rather than first to prevent wheel spin in snow/ice conditions - I never use it.
