Aero funny tapping noise fixed!

My new Aero Wagon has been making a "tippity-tap" rattling sound under throttle transitions and light throttle cruise, pretty much since new (two months). It only did it after 20 minutes of driving, for some odd reason. Yesterday I took the car back to Barrier Saab in Belleview WA and demonstrated the sound for the technician and the service writer - it was easy because I could put my foot on top of the left front wheel and rock the car to make the tapping sound. Of course they both said "We've never heard that one before."
I ended up leaving the car for a day so they could fiddle with it. They gave me a Dodge Caravan rental with a nearly flat front tire and puke colored upholstery. At least the neighbor kid liked it - my 9 year old son touched my heart by saying that mini-vans suck. He's very well trained ;)
I picked up the car this morning. The problem turned out to be slightly loose transmission mount bolts, where the mount attaches to the tranny case. The tech retorqued them and all is well. The car is very quiet now - I suspect there has been more background noise than I was aware of.
I suggest to anyone with an unknown rattle from the front of the car to have the dealer check these bolts at your next scheduled service. Access requires removal of the battery and tray, because the mount is directly underneath and not easily reached. As far as I know, there is no service bulletin for this problem (yet!).
My compliments to the Barrier folks. Other than the crappy loaner, they did everything just right!
