Hi Guys,
I've searched this board, and the 9-3 board on this topic. As such, I've seen what has been tried this far, and this will be a familiar story to some!
I plugged in Tech2 today and came up with a siren battery fault code as the reason I get the above-stated SID message. Others have tried (and failed?) to replace the lithium batteries in the siren box. Has anyone tried this and succeeded? If so, what's your secret? I've not bought the batteries yet, but I will if they can be successfully replaced. I'm familiar with wiring & soldering, so that's no biggie for me.
Is the end result that I need to buy a new siren? That seems insane to me!
