My car was $38,600+/- new, it's the linear sedan with the premium package. I think I put 3k down, payments $340mo. As you know the GM discount is non-negotiable, I'd have to look at exactly what that GMO (not GMS, which is for suppliers and is less discount) price was, but I paid exactly what the GMO price was on the invoice - which was roughly 14-15k off the sticker...for most dealerships the GMO price is less than their invoiced price and GM reimburses them the difference.
I have though, since I've had all of these problems, wondered if the 40 miles that were on it was a buy and then dump - could someone really tell in 40 miles that the car was a lemon? In theory Saab gives a 15 day window where you could change your mind right? What are the odds for 40 miles? I actually never test drove my car, I had driven a few 95's (family and at another dealership) - ended up choosing this dealership because they had done GMO deals before and they had a silver 5 speed sedan with the premium package...
