Well Tom I would not have believed this but the cause of my vibration issue is indeed the tires. The SAAB dealer went over the car and aside from a piss poor balancing job (done on a Hunter 9700 no less) which they rebalanced - could find nothing wrong. Their rebalance definitely helped, but from 75-95 MPH there was still noticeable vibration. I was about ready to have them replace the front bearings but they swapped 4 wheels\tires from a new car and we took it out again - no vibration!

So evidently there is something wrong with the wheels or tires (already replaced 3! bent wheels and SAAB dealer saw nothing wrong with then wheels). I have located another shop with a Hunter machine and much better customer service than the last Hunter place and I am going to make sure they have their best guy on the machine and see what happens.

If THAT doesn't work I guess I'll see if I can work something out with Tire Rack... So while it is not completely resolved, we've definitely narrowed it down.
