I usually get Mobil 1 5-W30 for my mother's 9-5. They were out when I went to get some the other day, so I picked up 0-W40...same price...and I figured its a more extreme oil, which is good, especially since my mother does alot of cold starts and stop/go driving in her 9-5.
I can tell from your name that you seem to like 0W-40. Any tradeoffs? I know its just not as simple as the 0W-40 flowing better at cold starts and also protecting better at high temps than the 5-W30.
Also, what made you decide to go with 5W-40 now over 0W-40 and betray your name? :)
