I just did the following this past weekend;
Spray on P21S Wheel Cleaner (gel) on both front and back of wheel (tires, too)
Wait 1 hour
Wash with Dawn, Rinse
Remove all tar, etc. with McGuires(sp?) Tar and Bug Remover
Wash/Rinse/Dry
(This would be a good time to touch up any paint scratches/chips)
Apply Klasse All-in-one to front and portion of back where weights are not attached (will get all wheels balanced before putting back on)
Apply Klasse Glaze to same parts.
Obviously, if you are not going to have the wheels balanced you can apply the Klasse products to the whole wheel. (I will give the back of the wheel the treatment after they are balanced.) Zaino products will work well, too. The polymer products can better withstand the high temperatures that the wheels experience and thus last longer than any wax.
My two year old wheels look and feel brand new! They're almost too slippery to hold by the spokes....I hope this doesn't cause a mounting problem.....
