Roof Rack for Wagon. Questions

Hello All:
I've been using my certified 2000 95 Saab SE Wagon for about 7 months now. I love it.
Now that its Spring, I'm gonna splurge on some roof bars & bike racks for my wagon. Can someone answer if the Saab-branded roof bars (for the wagon) are made by Thule? If so, do you know if they will support any Thule Bike rack (while the saab-branded bike carrier is nice, its a bit too big for my needs...lookng for something that I can mount the fork to the rack witout the wheel).
If anyone has any of this stuff for sale, let me know?
Also, how easy, difficult is this stuff to get on & off. I don't want to leave all the stuff on my car all the time.
Thanks
