1- the xenons are not just lights - they have a self leveling (electric) mechanism which makes retrofit prhibitively expensive. the aero wagons that have xenons also have the parking assist which, because of the high back, is very useful
2- We drove both Aero wagons and Aero sedans (02's, 03,s) in tight sequence on the autocross at the Aero academy. The wagon sits tighter to the ground, is more stable, but a bit slower than the sedan. When switching between cars, there was a slight bouncy feel to the sedan (it is lighter) - the instructors (all racing drivers) said you could do the autocross slightly faster in the sedan( a couple of seconds of a total of about 26 for them) when you were like them (the best anyone in our goup did was about 28) I like the feel of the wagon's handling better - we have one with (03 MT) and it holds the road beautifully.
