I like Griot's Fine Hand polish - it works well on most scratches. You can wet-sand the scratch _carefully_ with 2000 grit sandpaper (or finer, if you can find any), then follow up with the polish. It will take a lot of polishing, but eventually you will get out the sanding marks. Remember it is better to leave a scratch than to sand away all your paint!!! It might make more sense to treat that scratch like a rock chip - touch up the scratch with Saab factory touch-up paint, then sand smooth, polish and rewax.
For a lot of very useful info, order Griot's detailing handbook. Their stuff is a bit expensive, but everything works very well. Their "wax removal towels" are especially neat - they hold tons of wax and make buffing a breeze.
