I got some programming adjustments on my 04 aero wagon. My doors all unlock on the first press of the remote, but I wish the tailgate would unlock too. My doors do not lock after 7.5mph. Also, the tailgate does not automatically unlock. If I have all the locks locked while driving(rare for me), when I remove the key, all doors will automatically unlock. I did not ask for #3. Your dealer is just too lazy or too stupid to learn how the software works.
Tom L - With Tech 2 can you set the number of Light flashes on arm/disarm?
I wanted to get 3 light flashes on arm and 1 on disarm(its what I'm used to from a previous car). The factory setting is 1 flash to arm and 2 to disarm. My dealer says if you get 3 flashes to arm you have to have 3 to disarm as well, and it follows suit 1, 1 or 2, 2 or 3, 3 and so on. If the factory setting is different, why can't you reset it to different numbers? - seems odd, do you know?
