Assuming that your 99 does not have Onstar (I don't even think it was available for that year but don't know) the install is fairly simple. You will need the wiring harness from the saab catalog (I think it is about 15 bucks) and the Nokia CARK-91 handsfree car kit. (Do some surfing on the web and you will be able to find it for about $125.) You will also need a antenna.

I have done this install a few times and advised an antena in the past that I have had great results with. Do a search. (I caution you against using the type that goes through the glass, one end inside car, one end outside as the capacitance of the window glass on saabs is ot the standard amount due to a metalized film inside it. because of this performance will suffer. They are ugly too...)

From here all you have to do is put it in. It is not simple, but anyone of average ability could do it. If you have further questions I encourage you to do a few searches on this board and post back if you can not find the answers you are looking for.
