You are exactly right. The suspension geometry and 5 speed trans for example are STRAIGHT out of the E Class. The HEMI really is a decent engine. They hold up well under power as well. My buddy has a Ram 1500 tuned to about 450hp. Too bad his reprogrammer disabled his torque reduction system and he toasted his tranny! BTW my stage 1 Aero is just as fast as his heavy truck from a stop and pulls on him after 2nd gear with ease. Too bad I can't do burnouts and donuts! J/K The HEMI gets 25mpg on the highway which isn't hateful. 9-5 Aero's are phenominal when it comes to balancing the thirst for high boost fueling and the efficiency of highway cruising. Like you, on the highway with cruise on I am in the 30's. Too bad I live in an area where everything has a 45mph speed limit littered with stop lights. I am only averaging 16.5mpg but then again I live between 2500 and 4500rpm at full throttle just about all the time!
