A DIY subscription to Alldata.com will give you the equivalent of a manual. It's $25 per year. I don't have the Saab CD to compare, but it looks like they've extracted much of the Saab CD and made it available on the web. In addition to the contents of the service manual, you'll also get technical service bulletins, recalls, etc. It's not as nice as having a manual like Bentley's manual for the 900, but it is the best alternative that I've found.
