First time Saab Owner

Hi, all - picked up my first Saab, an '01 9-5 wagon, last Thursday. It is a lease return with 29k miles that my local Chevy dealer picked up at auction in the Bay area (I believe from Burlingame. I'm about 300 miles to the south). It immediately caught my eye once on the lot. The price was right and the fact that it's still under warranty (with a Saab dealer in my small town) clinched it.
It's sun green with memory leather seats and the Harmon Kardon audio system but the base 2.3t lpt engine.
On day 2 it went to the Saab dealer for it's 30k checkup & service where they found the battery to be bad and the right front wheel bearing to be noisy, both replaced under warranty. The front brake pads are also said to be a bit thin. Replaced the tranny fluid on their recommendation as well.
I've noticed now on a few occasions that a good quantity of white/gray smoke comes out of the tail pipe at startup. Only during startup. The dealer's going to have the car back this Friday to take a look. I also need to get the keys re-coded as it came with a third key that is not being recognized.
Assuming this smoking problem gets resolved it looks like this will be a good car that we can live with for a long time. I downsized from my 11-year old 2-door GMC Yukon, which was still going strong, so I hope we made a good choice.
