I believe the compressor is located inside the engine compartment...please correct me if I'm wrong. Sad thing is, I was hoping if it was a part that had to be replaced...that's what I wish it was.

I've just been through hell and back with this car already from $7200 in damage from the gravel they put on the Colorado roads in winter which in turn got me a new paint job, headlights, side mirrors, 3 windshields, exterior trim, hood...etc., to getting rear ended in May, to a DI cassette, bulbs blowing left and right, squeaks/rattles, and now the a/c.

Maybe I just wasn't meant to have a SAAB :(
