THe radio in the Saab is able to be muted when an incoming call is sensed,as well as route the telephone audio signal through the car's speakers. Also, the built in microphone in the headliner next to the rear view mirror is used for your voice line. To make it all work you need a few things. First, a mobile phone that has an accessory hands free kit that supports all of these functions. Nokia, Motorola, and Samsung are among the companies that I am aware of that make compatable phones and hands free kits. Second, you need an accessory harness available from your Saab dealer, that is used to marry the hands free kit's harness to the saab audioi system. Third, since you obviously have not already installed one of these, you need a good local phone/audio installer that has the expertise and experience to put it all in for you.Despite what otheres might care t opost here, the chances of you doing the install and getting the entire thing put together with no lingering problems, for less than the perhaps $150 in labor it will cost you to have a pro do it, is highly unlikely. I've put them in 2 9-5's and had the same shop do it.Personally, I have used the Nokia phones and hands free kits, and they have worked out well. Do a further search on this site for more hands free comments and tips, but unless you are an install pro, forget doing it yourself.
