I tend to keep my side mirrors angled to the side a bit more than others. When I hit the little "50/50" button (works 50% of the time), the mirror points down, but too far to the side to help with curbs, etc. Since only 2 of us use the car (me 98% of the time, wife 2%), I program the 3rd memory setting to keep my seat where it is, but angle the mirrors to a more helpful angle for backing/parking. Downside is you must reset this setting if you reprogram your primary seat position, but nothing's perfect.
