Spraying the inside of the engine compartment is not the best thing in the world to do, although many do it. If you need to do it, spread some dielectric grease on exposed connectors.
As for your problem, the stuttering will go away after whatever got wet dries, but you may need to have the code reset via a Tech 2 (dealer, or some indys).
Not to say I don't keep my engine bay looking clean and shiny, but I try not to use high pressure water. If I need to rinse it, I use only low pressure. Usually I just spray and wipe.
