04's too close...... Depreciation is pretty close to 15-20% a year, but end of the year incentives make a 20% plus discount on a new one possible. Prices in the under $35k range, $32k, $33k, are possible depending on the level of equipment.
In general with Saabs, current incentives, like on '04s now, are as greater or even greater than on last years left over '03s.
This makes it really tough to sell last years car. As a Saab dealer if your wait to long they actually reduce the incentive and your screwed. So many dealers "punch" the car to get the maximum incentive, punch means start the warranty clock, often licensing the car as in California for example. This means your getting a "new used car" A car that's been reported sold to Saab and the DMV, but that has never had an owner. 114 miles is very typical test drive mileage for a year old car.
"Course if 31k is all you got and it's a loaded, xenon, touring, vent seat Aero, then it ain't too bad.
03 and 04 are mechanically identical, but the 04's have a new and improved looking front and rear valances and more interior color options.
Will you still get the Aero Academy driving school at Road Atlanta with the '03?
