Face it, its Gossett that's the lemon

Yesterday, my wife pulled too far over a curb stop, and when she backed up she ripped the bumper cover completely off the car (viggen). A friend secured the bumper, and she drove straight to Gossett to get it reattached. After looking at it, they refused to reattach it, saying a body shop had to do it (even though all they had to do was snap it back in place and replace the plastic push rivets.) They then placed - not secured - the bumper back on and told her it was fine to drive. (As you might guess, it was close to quitting time.) She drove all the way back home, on the interstate, with absolutely nothing but wind pressure holding the bumper in place. I can't imagine how they could let someone out of the shop like that. If the bumper had fallen off, it would have caused a major accident.
