After completing a 130 mile trek today in my '02 Aero wagon (18,800 miles) -- 85 degrees, A/C on, about 70 mph mostly -- I pulled into my garage. As I was walking around the front of the car to close the garage door, I detected a faint smell of burning electronics. I raised the hood and sniffed around -- the scent seemed to be centered around the DIC. Is this a warning of impending failure? Am I paranoid? I've definitely never smelled this before in the 2 plus years of ownership. The smell was faint, but certainly enough to prompt me to open the hood. How do I explain this to a dealer that usually replies with "no problem found?"

Thanks for any thoughts/advice!
