Hi Anthony,
You are right - I loved the Aero and will likely own one again. The opportunity arose for an awesome deal on another of my favorite cars - so I jumped. The awd capacity of the Audi means that I can leave the SUV permenantly on Cape Cod where my family can use it and I can have it for my field research when I need it. the Audi is a great all-weather performance car (as was the Aero with the Blizzak WS-50's) and I am eager to explore its capacities. The Nav system is so great - why did I wait so long to try one out?!?!?!? Plus the XM radio allows me to hear Bob Edwards (of NPR fame) every morning again on XM-NPR.
I sold the car to the Audi dealer who has an immediate target. The car was on the Saab classified board for over one month with only two responses - even with the reduced price.
My wife loves the new Aero convertible - but I think the new 9-5 replacement ('06?) will be an awd competitor to the Audi quattro and I am eager to see it at an upcoming car show.
Peace,
eric
