they look and fit better (and say Saab on the side)... unless you want rails sticking way out past the side edge of your car.

My wife got the Thule rails for her Volvo V70 and is VERY UNHAPPY with the extra 6-8 inches the rails stick out. I will be taking them back to the Thule rep to have the cut manually down. We bump into them all the time. If you have a specific cargo need that requires a cetain extraordinary cross bar width, well get the Thule or Yakima (FYI a US co.)

The latest Saab cross rails stick out past the wagon rails by only 2-3 inches.

PLUS, the Saab cross rails are cheaper if bought from a Saabnet sponsor!! (and you support Saab and Saab friends)
