there are 2 types of gm authorizations (gm auth) in which one can get no haggling prices with dealers. since saab is owned by gm, people with gm authorizations can get specific rates discounted so in theory, no haggling is required.

the first is a gm employee auth. It is basically dealer net and below invoice b/c it excludes marketing fees and the like. in order to obtain this type of auth, you have to be an employee of gm/gm affliate or a direct family member. the second is a suppplier type auth. as I understand it, you could be an employee of a company that does business with gm or gm affliates. they get a little higher than the gm employee price.

both have defined prices for vehicles. the prep and transp fee (120 and 695) have to be included in the price of the vehicle.

given this, there should be little need for painful haggling except perhaps in a trade-in.
