I would not even touch wheel alignment unless I had a problem with the car pulling or uneven tire wear. One time when the slogan" Don't fix what ain't broke" is valid. I had both sets of wheels and tires on my Aero done on the Hunter GPs 9700 ,and felt it was beneficial. No way should it cost more than $20 per wheel though. ( USA Northeast by the way). The reason it costs more than traditional balancing is that the Hunter machine will determine the high spots of both the tire as well as the rim, and tell the tech if the tire needs to be rotated around the rim to have these areas cancel each other out. If so, the labor to do this is why they charge more. Overall, I think that the vibrations are lower in the 9-5 when you do this. Car still vibrates at 72 MPH, no matter whose balancer you use.
