Just changed water pump and bypass valve on the liquid cooling system. It was a nightmare changing the pump but succeeded. I left the pump manifolds at place (i.e. all hose NOT removed). Removing all screws at place was so difficult so I will cry if I have to do that on my second 9-5.
The main problem originally was a leak on the bypass valve. It is located just above the pipe entrance of the air conditioning pipes that gets inside the passenger compartment. So far no problems and no leaks.
I decided not to replace exhaust gasket (exhaust manifold must be removed when changing the pump) and so far old gasket holds strong.

Any similar experience in the group? Inputs will be appreciated.
