New '05 9.5 Aero

I am a previous Saab 9000 owner, '89 model. I loved the car, I had it for 7 years and put 165,000 miles on it. The only weak point was the automatic transmission. I had 2 transmission failures in the life of the car.
I made the mistake of stopping by the local dealer yesterday...he had an '05 Aero with all of the bells and whistles, including the navigation. I had looked a at Saab 2 years ago, but they did not offer any kind of a navigation system, so I balked.
My question is...are there any weak points in the drivetrain as there were in the '89 model? I always keep my cars for several years and always put over a 150,000 mies on them.
Or should I just go buy it...got the dealer down to $45,000 on the first try, don't know if there is a lot more wiggle room?
Rick
Saabless at the moment, though loving the mileage my Passat TDI gets...47.7 mpg on the last tank!
