I think you would have knowledge of the upgrade if they already did it. I specifically asked for it at the 30K last September and they told me they would have done it anyway (?). On my workorder it says "SPS Trionic 24810-03 Perf.SPS Program".

As for the cupholder, they couldn't hear it rattle so I insisted that I would bring the car back and take a loaner for an entire day, it was then replaced in less than 3 minutes. There is an entire new holder that has foam as part of the unit.

I have a similar intermittent problem with the front passenger door and interior lights, they couldn't duplicate that either but at least it is documented. Maybe some day... I have pretty much given up on the steering column issue (at least for now), as it doesn't seem to be something that will cause problems later. It's just annoying.

The seat heater switches, do they crackle when you dial them or when the seat is on? While I was waiting for my replacement switch we turned the seat on (it didn't work) and the switch started crackling without touching it, while the seat should have been warming up. Weird. The new switch works fine.
