My turbo went with around 53k on my '99 wagon. I was flying down the highway around 75 mph when all of a sudden there was a noise (like a stack of books dropping on the floor) and then as described above the "007 white cloud smokescreen" pouring out of the exhaust every time I stepped on the gas. I continued to drive the car in limp mode for about another 20 miles to my destination where upon I called Saab and they towed the car which was still under warranty. The worst part of the ordeal for me was verifying to Saab that all the services had been performed and were done so using Saab product. I purchased this car used from and indy-Saab dealer and they were very helpful in locating the records for me. Saab did fix it no charge luckily!
