The passenger door will not lock with the remote. If I do not use the key to lock the car, the alarm may go off at any time, etc, etc. After reading many posts it seems that the lithium batteries in the alarm need replcing. However, Saab tells me that the batteries can't be replaced, that the entire unit has to be replaced. Does anyone know that as a fact? And if I can replace the batteries, do you know if I remove the alarm to try and replace the battery if the car will function with this unit missing.
