I have '99 V6 9-5 Wagon with 86,000 miles. I'm the original owner. I finally replaced my third set of Michelins (ok, I'm hard on 'em) with Goodyear F1 Gs D3s, based on what I've read here and on Tire Rack. When I bought them the sales guy cautioned that they'd be rougher riding than my Michelins and that the roughness would increase with speed. Instead, the roughness starts at 55 or so and is peak at 70 and generally smooths out at 80-plus. I can't tell if it's the road or the balance. I've had them re-balanced twice in the past month that I've owned them. First time they were out of balance (a day or two after I bought them.) Second time a weight had fallen off. But even after the second re-balance they rode just as rough. Any suggestions or thoughts from front-end buffs in the crowd? Thanks!
