Having owned a 9-5SE, having extensively driven almost all the cars you mentioned, and having family own some of these cars and ridden in my 9-5, I can say Ari's comments are spot on and very well stated.

IMO, the 9-5's interior design is better than all those cars in terms of general comfort, ease of ingress/egress, and passenger carrying. My parents own an Infiniti I35 and they've said the 9-5 is more roomy in back & front and easier to get in and out. The 9-5 front seats have better thigh support and shoulder support than any of those cars, especially the ES330 whose front seats are horribly shaped for me and my family.

The 9-5 has the most practical trunk of the lot since the hinges are outside the trunk area and both rear seats fold flat. I've carried ladders, even small trees in the back of my 9-5 without a problem. Any sedan without flat folding rear seats is a major compromise in practicality IMO. The BMW and Audi only have little pass-thru tunnels which are useless except for skis and the like.

DEFINITELY drive the cars for extended periods, rent them if you can and live with one for the day, before kicking down the $$.
