Maybe she's trying to tell you to buy some bridgestone potenzas! Seriously, to connect a base boost switch, I would use the cruise control vacuum switch wires. There are two small plastic pieces forward of the fuse box. THe one that has a vacuum line tapped into the big cruise control line is the one you want. THen buy a switch from radio shack to mount in dash and run the two wires to the vacuum switch. You could cut one of the wires on the cruise control switch itself, not the cars wiring harness. THen splice your two wires in. When one of the cruise vacuum switch wires is cut (or your new switch spliced and in open position) you'll have base boost. WHen I had my spg in for getting the hood painted I pulled the solenoid plug but got nervous and removed the apc box altogether. Using the cruise switch wires makes more sense than splicing into solenoid wires.
