Here's an instruction sent to me from one of the BB members. I didn't try until now, but it should be possible to do it with a lot of patience.

The motor mount is a different story. This is how I did it...a pro might be able to get the mount out with fewer steps, but this way was pretty straightforward and was done in conjunction with other repairs. To get at the mount, you must unbolt the AC compressor and move aside and (I think??) remove the alternator (can't remember for sure since I did the alternator bushings and water pump at the same time, so I took the alternator out. 1. remove belts from AC and Alternator. 2. Flop altenator to side to access bottom AC compressor mount bolt. 3. Loosen but do not remove 12mm bolt at bottom of AC mounting bracket. 4)Remove allen bolts holding compressor bracket and lift/slide AC up and lay on top of engine. 5)Remove alternator by removing top bracket bolts and pivoting on lower bracket bolt to get clearance for main bolt that hits firewall otherwise. 7) Jack up front end and remove front driver's side wheel. This allows access to motor mount bottom bracket bolts through wheel well. You probably know about those from doing the passenger side mount.
8) Remove oil filter to access motor mount mounting bracket bolts (I think the alternator needs to come out to get at this, too.) 9)Remove bolts from bottom mount bracket through wheel well. 10) jack engine slightly with block of wood over jack to protect casing. 11) Unbolt engine motor mount bracket from side of engine being very careful with the bolts holding the bracket to the engine. Clean the heads off and use a good or new open end wrench so that you do not round the heads. 12) Pull the whole motor mount out with frame brackets and motor bracket attached. Take the mount off the brackets and replace. 13) Installation is the reverse of removal, aargh.
