I just recently order the bentley manual, so I'm sure I'll be able to figure this out, but my car is an automatic, so how should I go about checking the rear main seal. I just had my mechanic put a new valve cover gasket on about 5 days ago, so I don't think that's it. Might it be loose? I did notice however that I am missing one of the 4 bolts that secure the engine cover (sorry about the lingo) to the area where the valve cover gasket is located. Could this be a problem? Thanks for any advice you have. Also, the brake fluid level is fine.
