You might have a badly balanced tire- do you live in an area where you can get snow and ice buildup inside the rim? Another possibility is that you might have lost one or more of the balancing weights. Yet another is loose lugnuts.
Try rotating your tires, and see if the problem rotates to a different corner of your car. Make sure to re-torque the lugnuts after a few(20 or so) miles of driving.
Other things which could cause this are: A dying CV joint or inner driver. A sticking brake which rubs the pad against the rotor, heating it up and causing a slight warp, which will start to pulse. This can also happen from unevenly torqued lugnuts.
I'm sure there are other possibilities... Anyone care to add to this list?
