Wow,

That S8 is a helluva nice ride! Even got to drive the beauty. So here is the condensed version of the story. Parents beware....never stick three 20 year olds in an Audi S8 and a 85 900T...they will have fun and push the boundries...woo ha ha! OK anyway, we were both heading back to his house around 2 Am, the road a 4 lane Freeway was deserted and well lit. So being young and spirited, yet responsible we decieded to have a lil' fun. I pulled up along side him doing around 85. Made eye contact, we knew it was on. Dropped it into 4th as he floored the auto S8...well it was awesome for about the first 4-7 seconds until the jet propulsion kicked in which meant he pretty much gained a good 50+ yards or the like, leaving me trailing pushing my poor stock 85 T to it's limits with out redlining, don't wanna blow anything. That was pretty much the highlight of SAABs wrath, when we got to our final destination we discussed the trip out there and he was QUITE impressed with the 900t's ability to keep up all the way, which did involve some "spirited" driving to say the least. All in all, I think it is fair to say that the S8 takes the SAAB any day, but I can settle with my 900T's ability to put up a fight at all! If you ever get a chance to drive the S8...do it...very nice car, some day..some day..oh yes, one will be mine.

Ttyl,
-Kurt

P.S. Get this, that Audi S8 cost 170 times more than my 85 900 T!!! I found that stat to be amazing, do the math...Hint: take the year of my car and tack on three zeros. Who got the better deal...?
