For those of you who have followed my postings regarding the resurrection of my '86 900,you probably realize how thrilled I am just to have it running again. I am now hearing the CV joint noise (noticed about a week or two ago.) it's just a matter of time...so that is now in first place....followed by either a head gasket replacement or just doing the cam shaft cover O-rings on....if I can determine leak sources and seriousness. (So I guess first thing is really "Get Engine Clean")

Two questions:
I have seen Simple Green suggested as an engine degreaser. Who can tell me more? Diluted? Straight? Sprayed on? How?


Fuel injector cleaner. I'm thinking that it can't just to run a fuel injector cleaner through the gas tank. Your thoughts and recommendations, please.

Also I am really considering loaning '96 to Avalon to the friend who si driving my SAAB so that I can be the one driving SAAB and avoiding further problems. The ones I already have seem interminable as it is, and what could she do to an automatic, anyway?
