Well, to all those who read my suggestions in the past about using epoxy to glue in the rear window of an old convertible, and to use black rubber goo to fix holes in the roof - I'm terribly sorry, but the "perfect job" you do will fall apart within six months. Today I booked an appointment to get my otherwise beautiful 1988 black/black/grey leather 900T Convertible with SPG treatment (looks like SiS, but according to Saab USA it isn't) re-roofed. To the tune of $1350! I called several upholsterers in the area, and this was the best price I could find (dealer wanted almost 2K). What I want to know is, should I get it fixed and then sell it for a lot of money, or keep it an love it. I've seen people posting cars like mine for close to $10K, but I was wondering if anyone is really willing to pay that much. Just looking for opinions, both on monetary value, and on "Saab loving."
