Manual bypass for electric antenna

It seemed silly that the antenna on my '93 900 raised every time I turned on the radio, even if I only wanted to listen to a CD or cassette. I poked around and tested the circuit to the antenna and came up with a bypass switch. You can cut the green, not the red, wire at the antenna, and route a wire to the dashboard and back to the antenna again. I put a switch in the line, in the back of the storage area, below the CD/EQ. When the switch is closed, the antenna works normally, when it is open, it does not raise when the radio is turned on. Call it antenna stealth mode.
