Thanks for the answers so far!
I keep tapping and tapping my knock sensor but see no ac voltage on my digital multimeter. Tried an analog meter - stil no voltage I connected the knock detector to the grammophone pickup input on my hifi stereo. That produced sound when tapping the knock sensor. But that is a very, very sensitive setup!
What kind of ac voltage should the knock detector produce when tapped ? millivolts? 5 volts? 10 volts?
please help!!
Anders
ps the resistance (ohms) over the two terminals on the knock detector is infinite(no connection). Is that normal??
