Alternator bushings & Alt ground wire

Regarding my 1990 Saab 900 Turbo convertible: A Saab Dealer has advised me that the shop that replaced my alternator (about 5 weeks ago) failed to replace the bushing during install. Since then, a bolt backed out, the alternator loosened, and cut the ground wire. To replace the bushings and make and install a new ground wire (apparently these wires are no longer made) the dealer is quoting a price a bit over $500. Does this sound right? It sounds . . . a bit off to me.
In addition, it seems the brain trust shop that replaced my alternator reversed placement of an AC hose relative to the alt belts (the hose should have been behind a shield of some sort). Consequently the hose was cut through. I don't have a hard quote on the cost of repairing this, but to the extent anyone can visualize this scenario, care to comment on the fair costs involved in repair? Other than this stuff, I LOVE this car. Thanks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
