do i need to do anything special to plug the holes in the throttle body? am i thinking of pulling the hoses and rerouting to take the tb out of the loop. i'll be moving back to new england in a year or so and want to keep the system usable (for colder weather starts and warm up), but don't really need it here in seattle. especially when it gets warmer and the turbo pumps out the heat, it can't help to be preheating the intake air after ic. anyway, i'm going to bypass the tb, but don't want to cause corrosion or wastage and ruining of the water channels. should i fill with coolant and plug? should i just dry it out and plug?
i wonder if you could mount a small pump and reservoir to circulate cooling fluid (or freon ?) through the tb only? probably wouldn't work anyway, and refer sys would require too much (compressor, evap, accum, etc.) to be worth the while.
but, any ideas on the plugging? thanks.
