Rough idle starts in the morning

I has been consistant for last few days now. It starts rough and if I come out of the parking lot then stop, the engine stalls. I restart the engine and drive off with the rough idle and after it warms up; its ok. At a light it revs between 850 to 1200 and has the little shake once in a while.

What coult it be ?
a bad plug, wires , a bad coil especially when it is humid after a lot of rain; I cannot floor it because the engine hesitates. Could it be a bad co2 sensor?

How would you guys go about it, to solve this problem.
the car is a 1988 spg with 190000km or 110000k's
