I used to use the large one for my '80T. The only way to get it out was to unfasten the dipstick tube and bend it out of the way, then dump the filter out, making a big mess. I don't remember the filter part number, but it also fit Fords. When they changed the catalog numbers, I went to the small one, it is so much less hassle. I use synthetics, change every 4k-5k miles.
