I bought an '88 SPG last February and within a few months I noticed the same exact thing as you're experiencing- ok when cold, but very high, very stiff pedal when warm. Of course all it took was full boost in upper gears to make it slip. HAD to be the clutch, I and many others said. So, I replaced it (without consulting the receipts that came with the car that indicated it was replaced relatively recently). It STILL does it! The only difference is it really doesn't slip anymore, but that pedal feel is too wierd- very hard and no freeplay. So, it may be the clutch master cylinder or I'm also told that the hydraulic line coming out of the slave softens up when warm and causes this. Let me know how you make out.
