PITA job and not necessary to narrow the leak. First off reach under the kick panel for the foam insulation(with cardboard backs) and see if they're wet. If so it's probably the heater valve. Antifreeze is oily and slippery. Brake fluid is oily and gritty. They both have very unique smells. You should be able to narrow it from there.
BTW, leaking brake fluid from the master is not common there and if it was you might have pedal problems. If, though you reach up to where the master comes through the firewall, feel for any fluid from it and smell it if it's wet.
If the fluid has no smell it's very well possible the windshield seal is leaking. It's not uncommon for rust holes to develop under the seal at the bottom corner that would allow water into the compartment.
