I've just replaced mine with standard 4" Kenwood units. It is an absolute industry standard. They are extremely easy to replace, but be aware that you want to get speakers with a low tweeter height. A lot of modern speakers come with a centre-cone mounted tweeter that sticks up above the edge of the frame, and the flatness of the Saab speaker grilles precludes you from using these.
