Can't get a mechanic to fix...

'92 900S, 60k miles

I started seeing my oil light flicker while I was idling, as the RPM rose, the oil light would go off or stop flickering. It is usally about 25 minutes into my drive, I do sit in traffic for 15 of those minutes. I don't hear any noise from under the hood. Additionally, I do get some hesitation when I first start driving it, before it warms up.

I took the car to a dealer who replaced the oil pressure switch last March (2001). It started flickering again, the dealer replaced the part. The third time, I took it in, and they "could not recreate the problem", however, they said there was not an oil pressure problem. Fourth time, they adjusted my idle. The fifth time, I took it to a Saab mechanic (January 2002), in Chicago, who also "could not recreate the problem", which is strange because it happens every time I drive the car. So, I now have another appointment with different mechanic.

Has anyone seen this problem? I cannot get to the mechanic for 6 days, is it okay to drive with the oil light flickering? Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
